GIVING FRIENDS EVENTS

Hundreds of families attended the Annual Back to School & Community Baby Shower Giveaway hosted by Giving Friends at a local Bronx school. Two dozen volunteers unpacked carton after carton containing all new items including backpacks filled with back to school supplies, socks, shirts, winter jackets, baby clothing and diapers, toys and more.

One of the Police School Safety Officers on hand said, “This annual Giving Friends event is one of the best and most heartwarming community events I’ve seen in the Bronx.”
